The Tallahassee Church of God in one of Tallahassee's oldest Churches. It got its start in the Old Smokey Hollow Community, which was just yards away from the State Capitol Building. The Church was originally built by Richard Van Brunt and others. The descendants of the first families, The Ash Family, The Fisher/Van Brunt, and the Stewart/Marquess Family, still worship together after more that 70 years.
